Karim has been realizing and commercializing life science and IVD products in global executive positions for more than 30 years.
He most recently led Biotype GmbH as CEO where he was responsible for the strategy, development and commercialization of molecular-diagnostic multi-parameter tests utilizing several multiplex technologies.
Prior to that as a member of the executive leadership team at Immunodiagnostic Systems IDS he had responsibility for the entire reagent and system business.
Karim also held several senior strategic management positions within the Roche Diagnostics division, where he gained extensive experience in product specification, positioning, pricing, launch and globalmarketing for multiple international products.

Lucy has led multidisciplinary teams in large and small IVD companies andglobal public health organisations in 4 countries over 3 decades
She has been an independent consultant for more than 10 years and brings extensive experience in the global IVD market across public health, multinational corporations, and start-up companies.
Prior to consulting she spent 20 years in various management roles bringing IVD products to market. She has held direct responsibility for IVD products across the full diagnostics lifecycle, from concept and design through development, commercialization, launch, and sales.
She held senior leadership roles most recently at Singulex, and prior to that at Gen-Probe and Roche Diagnostics in the US, Canada, South Africa and Switzerland leading multidisciplinary teams and building international product portfolios.
